Our approach to dealing with heel pain is different. It is NON-SURGICAL and it works. All of our treatment protocols are proprietary and they are a combination of best clinical practices and scientifically proven methods.
How are we different?
In most cases, people are treated for the symptoms, e.g. pain, inflammation, etc., without addressing the cause and contributing factors of the problem. Most practitioners/clinics have a standard set of treatments they use to treat everybody that have similar symptoms. Unfortunately, if the person doesn’t respond, the same treatments are repeated or a surgical approach is recommended. However, clinical data has shown that until the strains and vertical loads on heel ailments are treated correctly, complex heel pain can take months, and in some cases, years to resolve. Therefore, getting appropriate treatment as soon as possible is detrimental for a quick recovery.
Our approach in dealing with heel pain is different because it is very systemic and it focuses not only on the symptoms but on the source/cause of the problem. Each individual is assessed by obtaining a comprehensive history of the injury, detailed account of daily activities, musculoskeletal exam of your feet, gait analysis and a detailed list of all previously attempted therapies/ treatments. This approach allows us to customize the treatment plan to fit the specific individual’s needs and as such it provides excellent results. The whole concept of our proprietary treatment protocols is to effectively treat your heel pain and to prevent the problem from reoccurring.
This site will provide you with information about different heel issues. However, don’t hesitate to call for an appointment if you are currently experiencing heel pain or would like a second opinion.
